민수기 34 장.

민34:1 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되

민34:2 너는 이스라엘 자손에게 명령하여 그들에게 이르라 너희가 가나안 땅에 들어가는 때에 그 땅은 너희의 기업이 되리니 곧 가나안 사방 지경이라

민34:3 너희의 남쪽은 에돔 곁에 접근한 신 광야니 너희의 남쪽 경계는 동쪽으로 염해 끝에서 시작하여

민34:4 돌아서 아그랍빔 언덕 남쪽에 이르고 신을 지나 가데스바네아 남쪽에 이르고 또 하살아달을 지나 아스몬에 이르고

민34:5 아스몬에서 돌아서 애굽 시내를 지나 바다까지 이르느니라

민34:6 서쪽 경계는 대해가 경계가 되나니 이는 너희의 서쪽 경계니라

민34:7 북쪽 경계는 이러하니 대해에서부터 호르 산까지 그어라

민34:8 호르 산에서 그어 하맛 어귀에 이르러 스닷에 이르고

민34:9 그 경계가 또 시브론을 지나 하살에난에 이르나니 이는 너희의 북쪽 경계니라

민34:10 너희의 동쪽 경계는 하살에난에서 그어 스밤에 이르고

민34:11 그 경계가 또 스밤에서 리블라로 내려가서 아인 동쪽에 이르고 또 내려가서 긴네렛 동쪽 해변에 이르고

민34:12 그 경계가 또 요단으로 내려가서 염해에 이르나니 너희 땅의 사방 경계가 이러하니라

민34:13 모세가 이스라엘 자손에게 명령하여 이르되 이는 너희가 제비 뽑아 받을 땅이라 여호와께서 이것을 아홉 지파 반쪽에게 주라고 명령하셨나니

민34:14 이는 르우벤 자손의 지파와 갓 자손의 지파가 함께 그들의 조상의 가문에 따라 그들의 기업을 받을 것이며 므낫세의 반쪽도 기업을 받았음이니라

민34:15 이 두 지파와 그 반 지파는 여리고 맞은편 요단 건너편 곧 해 돋는 쪽에서 그들의 기업을 받으리라 각 지파의 기업을 받으리라

민34:16 여호와께서 또 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되

민34:17 너희에게 땅을 기업으로 나눌 자의 이름은 이러하니 제사장 엘르아살과 눈의 아들 여호수아니라

민34:18 너희는 또 기업의 땅을 나누기 위하여 각 지파에 한 지휘관씩 택하라

민34:19 그 사람들의 이름은 이러하니 유다 지파에서는 여분네의 아들 갈렙이요

민34:20 시므온 지파에서는 암미흣의 아들 스므엘이요

민34:21 베냐민 지파에서는 기슬론의 아들 엘리닷이요

민34:22 단 자손 지파에서는 지휘관 요글리의 아들 북기요

민34:23 요셉 자손 중 므낫세 자손 지파에서는 지휘관 에봇의 아들 한니엘이요

민34:24 에브라임 자손 지파에서는 지휘관 십단의 아들 그므엘이요

민34:25 스물론 자손 지파에서는 지휘관 바르낙의 아들 엘리사반이요

민34:26 잇사갈 자손 지파에서는 지휘관 앗산의 아들 발디엘이요

민34:27 아셀 자손 지파에서는 지휘관 슬로미의 아들 아히흣이요

민34:28 납달리 자손 지파에서는 지휘관 암미흣의 아들 브다헬이니라 하셨느니라

민34:29 이들이 여호와께서 명령하사 가나안 땅에서 이스라엘 자손에게 기업을 받게 하신 자들이니라

시편 78 장 38-72.

시78:38 오직 하나님은 긍휼하시므로 죄악을 덮어 주시어 멸망시키지 아니하시고 그의 진노를 여러 번 돌이키시며 그의 모든 분을 다 쏟아 내지 아니하셨으니

시78:39 그들은 육체이며 가고 다시 돌아오지 못하는 바람임을 기억하셨음이라

시78:40 그들이 광야에서 그에게 반항하며 사막에서 그를 슬프시게 함이 몇 번인가

시78:41 그들이 돌이켜 하나님을 거듭거듭 시험하며 이스라엘의 거룩하신 이를 노엽게 하였도다

시78:42 그들이 그의 권능의 손을 기억하지 아니하며 대적에게서 그들을 구원하신 날도 기억하지 아니하였도다

시78:43 그 때에 하나님이 애굽에서 그의 표적들을, 소안 들에서 그의 징조들을 나타내사

시78:44 그들의 강과 시내를 피로 변하여 그들로 마실 수 없게 하시며

시78:45 쇠파리 떼를 그들에게 보내어 그들을 물게 하시고 개구리를 보내어 해하게 하셨으며

시78:46 그들의 토산물을 황충에게 주셨고 그들이 수고한 것을 메뚜기에게 주셨으며

시78:47 그들의 포도나무를 우박으로 그들의 뽕나무를 서리로 죽이셨으며

시78:48 그들의 가축을 우박에, 그들의 양 떼를 번갯불에 넘기셨으며

시78:49 그의 맹렬한 노여움과 진노와 분노와 고난 곧 재앙의 천사들을 그들에게 내려보내셨으며

시78:50 그는 진노로 길을 닦으사 그들의 목숨이 죽음을 면하지 못하게 하시고 그들의 생명을 전염병에 붙이셨으며

시78:51 애굽에서 모든 장자 곧 함의 장막에 있는 그들의 기력의 처음 것을 치셨으나

시78:52 그가 자기 백성은 양 같이 인도하여 내시고 광야에서 양 떼 같이 지도하셨도다

시78:53 그들을 안전히 인도하시니 그들은 두려움이 없었으나 그들의 원수는 바다에 빠졌도다

시78:54 그들을 그의 성소의 영역 곧 그의 오른손으로 만드신 산으로 인도하시고

시78:55 또 나라를 그들의 앞에서 쫓아내시며 줄을 쳐서 그들의 소유를 분배하시고 이스라엘의 지파들이 그들의 장막에 살게 하셨도다

시78:56 그러나 그들은 지존하신 하나님을 시험하고 반항하여 그의 명령을 지키지 아니하며

시78:57 그들의 조상들 같이 배반하고 거짓을 행하여 속이는 활 같이 빗나가서

시78:58 자기 산당들로 그의 노여움을 일으키며 그들의 조각한 우상들로 그를 진노하게 하였으매

시78:59 하나님이 들으시고 분내어 이스라엘을 크게 미워하사

시78:60 사람 가운데 세우신 장막 곧 실로의 성막을 떠나시고

시78:61 그가 그의 능력을 포로에게 넘겨주시며 그의 영광을 대적의 손에 붙이시고

시78:62 그가 그의 소유 때문에 분내사 그의 백성을 칼에 넘기셨으니

시78:63 그들의 청년은 불에 살라지고 그들의 처녀들은 혼인 노래를 들을 수 없었으며

시78:64 그들의 제사장들은 칼에 엎드러지고 그들의 과부들은 애곡도 하지 못하였도다

시78:65 그 때에 주께서 잠에서 깨어난 것처럼, 포도주를 마시고 고함치는 용사처럼 일어나사

시78:66 그의 대적들을 쳐 물리쳐서 영원히 그들에게 욕되게 하셨도다

시78:67 또 요셉의 장막을 버리시며 에브라임 지파를 택하지 아니하시고

시78:68 오직 유다 지파와 그가 사랑하시는 시온 산을 택하시며

시78:69 그의 성소를 산의 높음 같이, 영원히 두신 땅 같이 지으셨도다

시78:70 또 그의 종 다윗을 택하시되 양의 우리에서 취하시며

시78:71 젖 양을 지키는 중에서 그들을 이끌어 내사 그의 백성인 야곱, 그의 소유인 이스라엘을 기르게 하셨더니

시78:72 이에 그가 그들을 자기 마음의 완전함으로 기르고 그의 손의 능숙함으로 그들을 지도하였도다

이사야 26 장.

사26:1 그 날에 유다 땅에서 이 노래를 부르리라 우리에게 견고한 성읍이 있음이여 여호와께서 구원으로 성벽과 외벽으로 삼으시리로다

사26:2 너희는 문들을 열고 신의를 지키는 의로운 나라가 들어오게 할지어다

사26:3 주께서 심지가 견고한 자를 평강하고 평강하도록 지키시리니 이는 그가 주를 신뢰함이니이다

사26:4 너희는 여호와를 영원히 신뢰하라 주 여호와는 영원한 반석이심이로다

사26:5 높은 데 거하는 자를 낮추시며 솟은 성을 헐어 땅에 엎으시되 진토에 미치게 하셨도다

사26:6 발이 그것을 밟으리니 곧 빈궁한 자의 발과 곤핍한 자의 걸음이리로다

사26:7 의인의 길은 정직함이여 정직하신 주께서 의인의 첩경을 평탄하게 하시도다

사26:8 여호와여 주의 심판하시는 길에서 우리가 주를 기다렸사오며 주의 이름을 위하여 또 주를 기억하려고 우리 영혼이 사모하나이다

사26:9 밤에 내 영혼이 주를 사모하였사온즉 내 중심이 주를 간절히 구하오리니 이는 주께서 땅에서 심판하시는 때에 세계의 거민이 의를 배움이니이다

사26:10 악인은 은총을 입을지라도 의를 배우지 아니하며 정직한 땅에서 불의를 행하고 여호와의 위엄을 돌아보지 아니하는도다

사26:11 여호와여 주의 손이 높이 들릴지라도 그들이 보지 아니하나이다마는 백성을 위하시는 주의 열성을 보면 부끄러워할 것이니라 불이 주의 대적을 사르리이다

사26:12 여호와여 주께서 우리를 위하여 평강을 베푸시오리니 주께서 우리 모든 일도 우리를 위하여 이루심이니이다

사26:13 여호와 우리 하나님이시여 주 외에 다른 주들이 우리를 관할하였사오나 우리가 주만 의지하고 주의 이름을 부르리이다

사26:14 그들은 죽었은즉 다시 살지 못하겠고 사망하였은즉 일어나지 못할 것이니 이는 주께서 벌하여 그들을 멸하사 그의 모든 기억을 없이하셨음이니이다

사26:15 여호와여 주께서 이 나라를 더 크게 하셨고 이 나라를 더 크게 하셨나이다 스스로 영광을 얻으시고 이 땅의 모든 경계를 확장하셨나이다

사26:16 여호와여 그들이 환난 중에 주를 앙모하였사오며 주의 징벌이 그들에게 임할 때에 그들이 간절히 주께 기도하였나이다

사26:17 여호와여 잉태한 여인이 산기가 임박하여 산고를 겪으며 부르짖음 같이 우리가 주 앞에서 그와 같으니이다

사26:18 우리가 잉태하고 산고를 당하였을지라도 바람을 낳은 것 같아서 땅에 구원을 베풀지 못하였고 세계의 거민을 출산하지 못하였나이다

사26:19 주의 죽은 자들은 살아나고 그들의 시체들은 일어나리이다 티끌에 누운 자들아 너희는 깨어 노래하라 주의 이슬은 빛난 이슬이니 땅이 죽은 자를 내어 놓으리로다

사26:20 내 백성아 갈지어다 네 밀실에 들어가서 네 문을 닫고 분노가 지나기까지 잠깐 숨을지어다

사26:21 보라 여호와께서 그의 처소에서 나오사 땅의 거민의 죄악을 벌하실 것이니라 땅이 그 위에 잦았던 피를 드러내고 그 살해당한 자를 다시는 덮지 아니하리라

요한일서 4 장.

요일4:1 사랑하는 자들아 영을 다 믿지 말고 오직 영들이 하나님께 속하였나 분별하라 많은 거짓 선지자가 세상에 나왔음이라

요일4:2 이로써 너희가 하나님의 영을 알지니 곧 예수 그리스도께서 육체로 오신 것을 시인하는 영마다 하나님께 속한 것이요

요일4:3 예수를 시인하지 아니하는 영마다 하나님께 속한 것이 아니니 이것이 곧 적그리스도의 영이니라 오리라 한 말을 너희가 들었거니와 지금 벌써 세상에 있느니라

요일4:4 자녀들아 너희는 하나님께 속하였고 또 그들을 이기었나니 이는 너희 안에 계신 이가 세상에 있는 자보다 크심이라

요일4:5 그들은 세상에 속한 고로 세상에 속한 말을 하매 세상이 그들의 말을 듣느니라

요일4:6 우리는 하나님께 속하였으니 하나님을 아는 자는 우리의 말을 듣고 하나님께 속하지 아니한 자는 우리의 말을 듣지 아니하나니 진리의 영과 미혹의 영을 이로써 아느니라

요일4:7 사랑하는 자들아 우리가 서로 사랑하자 사랑은 하나님께 속한 것이니 사랑하는 자마다 하나님으로부터 나서 하나님을 알고

요일4:8 사랑하지 아니하는 자는 하나님을 알지 못하나니 이는 하나님은 사랑이심이라

요일4:9 하나님의 사랑이 우리에게 이렇게 나타난 바 되었으니 하나님이 자기의 독생자를 세상에 보내심은 그로 말미암아 우리를 살리려 하심이라

요일4:10 사랑은 여기 있으니 우리가 하나님을 사랑한 것이 아니요 하나님이 우리를 사랑하사 우리 죄를 속하기 위하여 화목 제물로 그 아들을 보내셨음이라

요일4:11 사랑하는 자들아 하나님이 이같이 우리를 사랑하셨은즉 우리도 서로 사랑하는 것이 마땅하도다

요일4:12 어느 때나 하나님을 본 사람이 없으되 만일 우리가 서로 사랑하면 하나님이 우리 안에 거하시고 그의 사랑이 우리 안에 온전히 이루어지느니라

요일4:13 그의 성령을 우리에게 주시므로 우리가 그 안에 거하고 그가 우리 안에 거하시는 줄을 아느니라

요일4:14 아버지가 아들을 세상의 구주로 보내신 것을 우리가 보았고 또 증언하노니

요일4:15 누구든지 예수를 하나님의 아들이라 시인하면 하나님이 그의 안에 거하시고 그도 하나님 안에 거하느니라

요일4:16 하나님이 우리를 사랑하시는 사랑을 우리가 알고 믿었노니 하나님은 사랑이시라 사랑 안에 거하는 자는 하나님 안에 거하고 하나님도 그의 안에 거하시느니라

요일4:17 이로써 사랑이 우리에게 온전히 이루어진 것은 우리로 심판 날에 담대함을 가지게 하려 함이니 주께서 그러하심과 같이 우리도 이 세상에서 그러하니라

요일4:18 사랑 안에 두려움이 없고 온전한 사랑이 두려움을 내쫓나니 두려움에는 형벌이 있음이라 두려워하는 자는 사랑 안에서 온전히 이루지 못하였느니라

요일4:19 우리가 사랑함은 그가 먼저 우리를 사랑하셨음이라

요일4:20 누구든지 하나님을 사랑하노라 하고 그 형제를 미워하면 이는 거짓말하는 자니 보는 바 그 형제를 사랑하지 아니하는 자는 보지 못하는 바 하나님을 사랑할 수 없느니라

요일4:21 우리가 이 계명을 주께 받았나니 하나님을 사랑하는 자는 또한 그 형제를 사랑할지니라

Numbers 34.

34:1 The LORD said to Moses,

34:2 "Command the Israelites and say to them: 'When you enter Canaan, the land that will be allotted to you as an inheritance will have these boundaries:

34:3 "'Your southern side will include some of the Desert of Zin along the border of Edom. On the east, your southern boundary will start from the end of the Salt Sea,

34:4 cross south of Scorpion Pass, continue on to Zin and go south of Kadesh Barnea. Then it will go to Hazar Addar and over to Azmon,

34:5 where it will turn, join the Wadi of Egypt and end at the Sea.

34:6 "'Your western boundary will be the coast of the Great Sea. This will be your boundary on the west.

34:7 "'For your northern boundary, run a line from the Great Sea to Mount Hor

34:8 and from Mount Hor to Lebo Hamath. Then the boundary will go to Zedad,

34:9 continue to Ziphron and end at Hazar Enan. This will be your boundary on the north.

34:10 "'For your eastern boundary, run a line from Hazar Enan to Shepham.

34:11 The boundary will go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain and continue along the slopes east of the Sea of Kinnereth.

34:12 Then the boundary will go down along the Jordan and end at the Salt Sea. "'This will be your land, with its boundaries on every side.'"

34:13 Moses commanded the Israelites: "Assign this land by lot as an inheritance. The LORD has ordered that it be given to the nine and a half tribes,

34:14 because the families of the tribe of Reuben, the tribe of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance.

34:15 These two and a half tribes have received their inheritance on the east side of the Jordan of Jericho, toward the sunrise."

34:16 The LORD said to Moses,

34:17 "These are the names of the men who are to assign the land for you as an inheritance: Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun.

34:18 And appoint one leader from each tribe to help assign the land.

34:19 These are their names: Caleb son of Jephunneh, from the tribe of Judah;

34:20 Shemuel son of Ammihud, from the tribe of Simeon;

34:21 Elidad son of Kislon, from the tribe of Benjamin;

34:22 Bukki son of Jogli, the leader from the tribe of Dan;

34:23 Hanniel son of Ephod, the leader from the tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph;

34:24 Kemuel son of Shiphtan, the leader from the tribe of Ephraim son of Joseph;

34:25 Elizaphan son of Parnach, the leader from the tribe of Zebulun;

34:26 Paltiel son of Azzan, the leader from the tribe of Issachar;

34:27 Ahihud son of Shelomi, the leader from the tribe of Asher;

34:28 Pedahel son of Ammihud, the leader from the tribe of Naphtali."

34:29 These are the men the LORD commanded to assign the inheritance to the Israelites in the land of Canaan.

Psalms 78 38-72.

78:38 Yet he was merciful; he forgave their iniquities and did not destroy them. Time after time he restrained his anger and did not stir up his full wrath.

78:39 He remembered that they were but flesh, a passing breeze that does not return.

78:40 How often they rebelled against him in the desert and grieved him in the wasteland!

78:41 Again and again they put God to the test; they vexed the Holy One of Israel.

78:42 They did not remember his power--the day he redeemed them from the oppressor,

78:43 the day he displayed his miraculous signs in Egypt, his wonders in the region of Zoan.

78:44 He turned their rivers to blood; they could not drink from their streams.

78:45 He sent swarms of flies that devoured them, and frogs that devastated them.

78:46 He gave their crops to the grasshopper, their produce to the locust.

78:47 He destroyed their vines with hail and their sycamore-figs with sleet.

78:48 He gave over their cattle to the hail, their livestock to bolts of lightning.

78:49 He unleashed against them his hot anger, his wrath, indignation and hostility--a band of destroying angels.

78:50 He prepared a path for his anger; he did not spare them from death but gave them over to the plague.

78:51 He struck down all the firstborn of Egypt, the firstfruits of manhood in the tents of Ham.

78:52 But he brought his people out like a flock; he led them like sheep through the desert.

78:53 He guided them safely, so they were unafraid; but the sea engulfed their enemies.

78:54 Thus he brought them to the border of his holy land, to the hill country his right hand had taken.

78:55 He drove out nations before them and allotted their lands to them as an inheritance; he settled the tribes of Israel in their homes.

78:56 But they put God to the test and rebelled against the Most High; they did not keep his statutes.

78:57 Like their fathers they were disloyal and faithless, as unreliable as a faulty bow.

78:58 They angered him with their high places; they aroused his jealousy with their idols.

78:59 When God heard them, he was very angry; he rejected Israel completely.

78:60 He abandoned the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent he had set up among men.

78:61 He sent the ark of his might into captivity, his splendor into the hands of the enemy.

78:62 He gave his people over to the sword; he was very angry with his inheritance.

78:63 Fire consumed their young men, and their maidens had no wedding songs;

78:64 their priests were put to the sword, and their widows could not weep.

78:65 Then the Lord awoke as from sleep, as a man wakes from the stupor of wine.

78:66 He beat back his enemies; he put them to everlasting shame.

78:67 Then he rejected the tents of Joseph, he did not choose the tribe of Ephraim;

78:68 but he chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which he loved.

78:69 He built his sanctuary like the heights, like the earth that he established forever.

78:70 He chose David his servant and took him from the sheep pens;

78:71 from tending the sheep he brought him to be the shepherd of his people Jacob, of Israel his inheritance.

78:72 And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them.

Isaiah 26.

26:1 In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: We have a strong city; God makes salvation its walls and ramparts.

26:2 Open the gates that the righteous nation may enter, the nation that keeps faith.

26:3 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.

26:4 Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal.

26:5 He humbles those who dwell on high, he lays the lofty city low; he levels it to the ground and casts it down to the dust.

26:6 Feet trample it down--the feet of the oppressed, the footsteps of the poor.

26:7 The path of the righteous is level; O upright One, you make the way of the righteous smooth.

26:8 Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.

26:9 My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.

26:10 Though grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness; even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil and regard not the majesty of the LORD.

26:11 O LORD, your hand is lifted high, but they do not see it. Let them see your zeal for your people and be put to shame; let the fire reserved for your enemies consume them.

26:12 LORD, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us.

26:13 O LORD, our God, other lords besides you have ruled over us, but your name alone do we honor.

26:14 They are now dead, they live no more; those departed spirits do not rise. You punished them and brought them to ruin; you wiped out all memory of them.

26:15 You have enlarged the nation, O LORD; you have enlarged the nation. You have gained glory for yourself; you have extended all the borders of the land.

26:16 LORD, they came to you in their distress; when you disciplined them, they could barely whisper a prayer.

26:17 As a woman with child and about to give birth writhes and cries out in her pain, so were we in your presence, O LORD.

26:18 We were with child, we writhed in pain, but we gave birth to wind. We have not brought salvation to the earth; we have not given birth to people of the world.

26:19 But your dead will live; their bodies will rise. You who dwell in the dust, wake up and shout for joy. Your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead.

26:20 Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by.

26:21 See, the LORD is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed upon her; she will conceal her slain no longer.

1 John 4.

4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

4:2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,

4:3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

4:4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

4:5 They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them.

4:6 We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.

4:7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

4:9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

4:10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

4:11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

4:12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

4:13 We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

4:14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.

4:15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.

4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.

4:17 In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him.

4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

4:19 We love because he first loved us.

4:20 If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.

4:21 And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.
