여호수아 1 장.

수1:1 여호와의 종 모세가 죽은 후에 여호와께서 모세의 수종자 눈의 아들 여호수아에게 말씀 하여 이르시되

수1:2 내 종 모세가 죽었으니 이제 너는 이 모든 백성과 더불어 일어나 이 요단을 건너 내가 그들 곧 이스라엘 자손에게 주는 그 땅으로 가라

수1:3 내가 모세에게 말한 바와 같이 너희 발바닥으로 밟는 곳은 모두 내가 너희에게 주었노니

수1:4 곧 광야와 이 레바논에서부터 큰 강 곧 유브라데 강까지 헷 족속의 온 땅과 또 해 지는 쪽 대해까지 너희의 영토가 되리라

수1:5 네 평생에 너를 능히 대적할 자가 없으리니 내가 모세와 함께 있었던 것 같이 너와 함께 있을 것임이니라 내가 너를 떠나지 아니하며 버리지 아니하리니

수1:6 강하고 담대하라 너는 내가 그들의 조상에게 맹세하여 그들에게 주리라 한 땅을 이 백성에게 차지하게 하리라

수1:7 오직 강하고 극히 담대하여 나의 종 모세가 네게 명령한 그 율법을 다 지켜 행하고 우로나 좌로나 치우치지 말라 그리하면 어디로 가든지 형통하리니

수1:8 이 율법책을 네 입에서 떠나지 말게 하며 주야로 그것을 묵상하여 그 안에 기록된 대로 다 지켜 행하라 그리하면 네 길이 평탄하게 될 것이며 네가 형통하리라

수1:9 내가 네게 명령한 것이 아니냐 강하고 담대하라 두려워하지 말며 놀라지 말라 네가 어디로 가든지 네 하나님 여호와가 너와 함께 하느니라 하시니라

수1:10 이에 여호수아가 그 백성들의 관리들에게 명령하여 이르되

수1:11 진중에 두루 다니며 그 백성에게 명령하여 이르기를 양식을 준비하라 사흘 안에 너희가 이 요단을 건너 너희의 하나님 여호와께서 너희에게 주사 차지하게 하시는 땅을 차지하기 위하여 들어갈 것임이니라 하라

수1:12 여호수아가 또 르우벤 지파와 갓 지파와

수1:13 므낫세 반 지파에게 말하여 이르되 여호와의 종 모세가 너희에게 명령하여 이르기를 너희의 하나님 여호와께서 너희에게 안식을 주시며 이 땅을 너희에게 주시리라 하였나니 너희는 그 말을 기억하라

수1:14 너희의 처자와 가축은 모세가 너희에게 준 요단 이쪽 땅에 머무르려니와 너희 모든 용사들은 무장하고 너희의 형제보다 앞서 건너가서 그들을 돕되

수1:15 여호와께서 너희를 안식하게 하신 것 같이 너희의 형제도 안식하며 그들도 너희의 하나님 여호와께서 주시는 그 땅을 차지하기까지 하라 그리고 너희는 너희 소유지 곧 여호와의 종 모세가 너희에게 준 요단 이쪽 해 돋는 곳으로 돌아와서 그것을 차지할지니라

수1:16 그들이 여호수아에게 대답하여 이르되 당신이 우리에게 명령하신 것은 우리가 다 행할 것이요 당신이 우리를 보내시는 곳에는 우리가 가리이다

수1:17 우리는 범사에 모세에게 순종한 것 같이 당신에게 순종하려니와 오직 당신의 하나님 여호와께서 모세와 함께 계시던 것 같이 당신과 함께 계시기를 원하나이다

수1:18 누구든지 당신의 명령을 거역하며 당신의 말씀을 순종하지 아니하는 자는 죽임을 당하리니 오직 강하고 담대하소서

시편 120 장.

시120:1 내가 환난 중에 여호와께 부르짖었더니 내게 응답하셨도다

시120:2 여호와여 거짓된 입술과 속이는 혀에서 내 생명을 건져 주소서

시120:3 너 속이는 혀여 무엇을 네게 주며 무엇을 네게 더할꼬

시120:4 장사의 날카로운 화살과 로뎀 나무 숯불이리로다

시120:5 메섹에 머물며 게달의 장막 중에 머무는 것이 내게 화로다

시120:6 내가 화평을 미워하는 자들과 함께 오래 거주하였도다

시120:7 나는 화평을 원할지라도 내가 말할 때에 그들은 싸우려 하는도다

시편 121 장.

시121:1 내가 산을 향하여 눈을 들리라 나의 도움이 어디서 올까

시121:2 나의 도움은 천지를 지으신 여호와에게서로다

시121:3 여호와께서 너를 실족하지 아니하게 하시며 너를 지키시는 이가 졸지 아니하시리로다

시121:4 이스라엘을 지키시는 이는 졸지도 아니하시고 주무시지도 아니하시리로다

시121:5 여호와는 너를 지키시는 이시라 여호와께서 네 오른쪽에서 네 그늘이 되시나니

시121:6 낮의 해가 너를 상하게 하지 아니하며 밤의 달도 너를 해치지 아니하리로다

시121:7 여호와께서 너를 지켜 모든 환난을 면하게 하시며 또 네 영혼을 지키시리로다

시121:8 여호와께서 너의 출입을 지금부터 영원까지 지키시리로다

시편 122 장.

시122:1 사람이 내게 말하기를 여호와의 집에 올라가자 할 때에 내가 기뻐하였도다

시122:2 예루살렘아 우리 발이 네 성문 안에 섰도다

시122:3 예루살렘아 너는 잘 짜여진 성읍과 같이 건설되었도다

시122:4 지파들 곧 여호와의 지파들이 여호와의 이름에 감사하려고 이스라엘의 전례대로 그리로 올라가는도다

시122:5 거기에 심판의 보좌를 두셨으니 곧 다윗의 집의 보좌로다

시122:6 예루살렘을 위하여 평안을 구하라 예루살렘을 사랑하는 자는 형통하리로다

시122:7 네 성 안에는 평안이 있고 네 궁중에는 형통함이 있을지어다

시122:8 내가 내 형제와 친구를 위하여 이제 말하리니 네 가운데에 평안이 있을지어다

시122:9 여호와 우리 하나님의 집을 위하여 내가 너를 위하여 복을 구하리로다

이사야 61 장.

사61:1 주 여호와의 영이 내게 내리셨으니 이는 여호와께서 내게 기름을 부으사 가난한 자에게 아름다운 소식을 전하게 하려 하심이라 나를 보내사 마음이 상한 자를 고치며 포로된 자에게 자유를, 갇힌 자에게 놓임을 선포하며

사61:2 여호와의 은혜의 해와 우리 하나님의 보복의 날을 선포하여 모든 슬픈 자를 위로하되

사61:3 무릇 시온에서 슬퍼하는 자에게 화관을 주어 그 재를 대신하며 희락의 기름으로 그 슬픔을 대신하며 찬송의 옷으로 그 근심을 대신하시고 그들이 의의 나무 곧 여호와께서 심으신 그 영광을 나타낼 자라 일컬음을 받게 하려 하심이라

사61:4 그들은 오래 황폐하였던 곳을 다시 쌓을 것이며 옛부터 무너진 곳을 다시 일으킬 것이며 황폐한 성읍 곧 대대로 무너져 있던 것들을 중수할 것이며

사61:5 외인은 서서 너희 양 떼를 칠 것이요 이방 사람은 너희 농부와 포도원지기가 될 것이나

사61:6 오직 너희는 여호와의 제사장이라 일컬음을 받을 것이라 사람들이 너희를 우리 하나님의 봉사자라 할 것이며 너희가 이방 나라들의 재물을 먹으며 그들의 영광을 얻어 자랑할 것이니라

사61:7 너희가 수치 대신에 보상을 배나 얻으며 능욕 대신에 몫으로 말미암아 즐거워할 것이라 그리하여 그들의 땅에서 갑절이나 얻고 영원한 기쁨이 있으리라

사61:8 무릇 나 여호와는 정의를 사랑하며 불의의 강탈을 미워하여 성실히 그들에게 갚아 주고 그들과 영원한 언약을 맺을 것이라

사61:9 그들의 자손을 뭇 나라 가운데에, 그들의 후손을 만민 가운데 알리리니 무릇 이를 보는 자가 그들은 여호와께 복 받은 자손이라 인정하리라

사61:10 내가 여호와로 말미암아 크게 기뻐하며 내 영혼이 나의 하나님으로 말미암아 즐거워하리니 이는 그가 구원의 옷을 내게 입히시며 공의의 겉옷을 내게 더하심이 신랑이 사모를 쓰며 신부가 자기 보석으로 단장함 같게 하셨음이라

사61:11 땅이 싹을 내며 동산이 거기 뿌린 것을 움돋게 함 같이 주 여호와께서 공의와 찬송을 모든 나라 앞에 솟아나게 하시리라

마태복음 9 장.

마9:1 예수께서 배에 오르사 건너가 본 동네에 이르시니

마9:2 침상에 누운 중풍병자를 사람들이 데리고 오거늘 예수께서 그들의 믿음을 보시고 중풍병자에게 이르시되 작은 자야 안심하라 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라

마9:3 어떤 서기관들이 속으로 이르되 이 사람이 신성을 모독하도다

마9:4 예수께서 그 생각을 아시고 이르시되 너희가 어찌하여 마음에 악한 생각을 하느냐

마9:5 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라 하는 말과 일어나 걸어가라 하는 말 중에 어느 것이 쉽겠느냐

마9:6 그러나 인자가 세상에서 죄를 사하는 권능이 있는 줄을 너희로 알게 하려 하노라 하시고 중풍병자에게 말씀하시되 일어나 네 침상을 가지고 집으로 가라 하시니

마9:7 그가 일어나 집으로 돌아가거늘

마9:8 무리가 보고 두려워하며 이런 권능을 사람에게 주신 하나님께 영광을 돌리니라

마9:9 예수께서 그 곳을 떠나 지나가시다가 마태라 하는 사람이 세관에 앉아 있는 것을 보시고 이르시되 나를 따르라 하시니 일어나 따르니라

마9:10 예수께서 마태의 집에서 앉아 음식을 잡수실 때에 많은 세리와 죄인들이 와서 예수와 그의 제자들과 함께 앉았더니

마9:11 바리새인들이 보고 그의 제자들에게 이르되 어찌하여 너희 선생은 세리와 죄인들과 함께 잡수시느냐

마9:12 예수께서 들으시고 이르시되 건강한 자에게는 의사가 쓸 데 없고 병든 자에게라야 쓸 데 있느니라

마9:13 너희는 가서 내가 긍휼을 원하고 제사를 원치 아니하노라 하신 뜻이 무엇인지 배우라 나는 의인을 부르러 온 것이 아니요 죄인을 부르러 왔노라 하시니라

마9:14 그 때에 요한의 제자들이 예수께 나아와 이르되 우리와 바래새인들은 금식하는데 어찌하여 당신의 제자들은 금식하지 아니하나이까

마9:15 예수께서 그들에게 이르시되 혼인집 손님들이 신랑과 함께 있을 동안에 슬퍼할 수 있느냐 그러나 신랑을 빼앗길 날이 이르리니 그 때에는 금식할 것이니라

마9:16 생베 조각을 낡은 옷에 붙이는 자가 없나니 이는 기운 것이 그 옷을 당기어 해어짐이 더하게 됨이요

마9:17 새 포도주를 낡은 가죽 부대에 넣지 아니하나니 그렇게 하면 부대가 터져 포도주도 쏟아지고 부대도 버리게 됨이라 새 포도주는 새 부대에 넣어야 둘이 다 보전되느니라

마9:18 예수께서 이 말씀을 하실 때에 한 관리가 와서 절하며 이르되 내 딸이 방금 죽었사오나 오셔서 그 몸에 손을 얹어 주소서 그러면 살아나겠나이다 하니

마9:19 예수께서 일어나 따라가시매 제자들도 가더니

마9:20 열두 해 동안이나 혈루증으로 앓는 여자가 예수의 뒤로 와서 그 겉옷 가를 만지니

마9:21 이는 제 마음에 그 겉옷만 만져도 구원을 받겠다 함이라

마9:22 예수께서 돌이켜 그를 보시며 이르시되 딸아 안심하라 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였다 하시니 여자가 그 즉시 구원을 받으니라

마9:23 예수께서 그 관리의 집에 가사 피리 부는 자들과 떠드는 무리를 보시고

마9:24 이르시되 물러가라 이 소녀가 죽은 것이 아니라 잔다 하시니 그들이 비웃더라

마9:25 무리를 내보낸 후에 예수께서 들어가사 소녀의 손을 잡으시매 일어나는지라

마9:26 그 소문이 그 온 땅에 퍼지더라

마9:27 예수께서 거기에서 떠나가실새 두 맹인이 따라오며 소리 질러 이르되 다윗의 자손이여 우리를 불쌍히 여기소서 하더니

마9:28 예수께서 집에 들어가시매 맹인들이 그에게 나아오거늘 예수께서 이르시되 내가 능히 이 일 할 줄을 믿느냐 대답하되 주여 그러하오이다 하니

마9:29 이에 예수께서 그들의 눈을 만지시며 이르시되 너희 믿음대로 되라 하시니

마9:30 그 눈들이 밝아진지라 예수께서 엄히 경고하시되 삼가 아무에게도 알리지 말라 하셨으나

마9:31 그들이 나가서 예수의 소문을 그 온 땅에 퍼뜨리니라

마9:32 그들이 나갈 때에 귀신 들려 말 못하는 사람을 예수께 데려오니

마9:33 귀신이 쫓겨나고 말 못하는 사람이 말하거늘 무리가 놀랍게 여겨 이르되 이스라엘 가운데서 이런 일을 본 적이 없다 하되

마9:34 바리새인들은 이르되 그가 귀신의 왕을 의지하여 귀신을 쫓아낸다 하더라

마9:35 예수께서 모든 도시와 마을에 두루 다니사 그들의 회당에서 가르치시며 천국 복음을 전파하시며 모든 병과 모든 약한 것을 고치시니라

마9:36 무리를 보시고 불쌍히 여기시니 이는 그들이 목자 없는 양과 같이 고생하며 기진함이라

마9:37 이에 제자들에게 이르시되 추수할 것은 많되 일꾼이 적으니

마9:38 그러므로 추수하는 주인에게 청하여 추수할 일꾼들을 보내어 주소서 하라 하시니라

Joshua 1.

1:1 After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, the LORD said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses' aide:

1:2 "Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them--to the Israelites.

1:3 I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses.

1:4 Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates--all the Hittite country--to the Great Sea on the west.

1:5 No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.

1:6 "Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them.

1:7 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.

1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

1:10 So Joshua ordered the officers of the people:

1:11 "Go through the camp and tell the people, 'Get your supplies ready. Three days from now you will cross the Jordan here to go in and take possession of the land the LORD your God is giving you for your own.'"

1:12 But to the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joshua said,

1:13 "Remember the command that Moses the servant of the LORD gave you: 'The LORD your God is giving you rest and has granted you this land.'

1:14 Your wives, your children and your livestock may stay in the land that Moses gave you east of the Jordan, but all your fighting men, fully armed, must cross over ahead of your brothers. You are to help your brothers

1:15 until the LORD gives them rest, as he has done for you, and until they too have taken possession of the land that the LORD your God is giving them. After that, you may go back and occupy your own land, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave you east of the Jordan toward the sunrise."

1:16 Then they answered Joshua, "Whatever you have commanded us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go.

1:17 Just as we fully obeyed Moses, so we will obey you. Only may the LORD your God be with you as he was with Moses.

1:18 Whoever rebels against your word and does not obey your words, whatever you may command them, will be put to death. Only be strong and courageous!"

Psalms 120.

120:1 I call on the LORD in my distress, and he answers me.

120:2 Save me, O LORD, from lying lips and from deceitful tongues.

120:3 What will he do to you, and what more besides, O deceitful tongue?

120:4 He will punish you with a warrior's sharp arrows, with burning coals of the broom tree.

120:5 Woe to me that I dwell in Meshech, that I live among the tents of Kedar!

120:6 Too long have I lived among those who hate peace.

120:7 I am a man of peace; but when I speak, they are for war.

Psalms 121.

121:1 I lift up my eyes to the hills--where does my help come from?

121:2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

121:3 He will not let your foot slip--he who watches over you will not slumber;

121:4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

121:5 The LORD watches over you--the LORD is your shade at your right hand;

121:6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

121:7 The LORD will keep you from all harm--he will watch over your life;

121:8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Psalms 122.

122:1 I rejoiced with those who said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD."

122:2 Our feet are standing in your gates, O Jerusalem.

122:3 Jerusalem is built like a city that is closely compacted together.

122:4 That is where the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, to praise the name of the LORD according to the statute given to Israel.

122:5 There the thrones for judgment stand, the thrones of the house of David.

122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May those who love you be secure.

122:7 May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels."

122:8 For the sake of my brothers and friends, I will say, "Peace be within you."

122:9 For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity.

Isaiah 61.

61:1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,

61:2 to proclaim the year of the LORD'S favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,

61:3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion--to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.

61:4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.

61:5 Aliens will shepherd your flocks; foreigners will work your fields and vineyards.

61:6 And you will be called priests of the LORD, you will be named ministers of our God. You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast.

61:7 Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.

61:8 "For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity. In my faithfulness I will reward them and make an everlasting covenant with them.

61:9 Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the LORD has blessed."

61:10 I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

61:11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.

Matthew 9.

9:1 Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town.

9:2 Some men brought to him a paralytic, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven."

9:3 At this, some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, "This fellow is blaspheming!"

9:4 Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, "Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?

9:5 Which is easier: to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'?

9:6 But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...." Then he said to the paralytic, "Get up, take your mat and go home."

9:7 And the man got up and went home.

9:8 When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to men.

9:9 As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector's booth. "Follow me," he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.

9:10 While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew's house, many tax collectors and "sinners" came and ate with him and his disciples.

9:11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and 'sinners'?"

9:12 On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.

9:13 But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

9:14 Then John's disciples came and asked him, "How is it that we and the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?"

9:15 Jesus answered, "How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.

9:16 "No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse.

9:17 Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved."

9:18 While he was saying this, a ruler came and knelt before him and said, "My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her, and she will live."

9:19 Jesus got up and went with him, and so did his disciples.

9:20 Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak.

9:21 She said to herself, "If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed."

9:22 Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said, "your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed from that moment.

9:23 When Jesus entered the ruler's house and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd,

9:24 he said, "Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep." But they laughed at him.

9:25 After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.

9:26 News of this spread through all that region.

9:27 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!"

9:28 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" "Yes, Lord," they replied.

9:29 Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith will it be done to you";

9:30 and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, "See that no one knows about this."

9:31 But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region.

9:32 While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus.

9:33 And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, "Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel."

9:34 But the Pharisees said, "It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons."

9:35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.

9:36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

9:37 Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.

9:38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."
