사33:15 오직 의롭게 행하는 자, 정직히 말하는자, 토색한 재물을 가증히 여기는 자, 손을 흔들어 뇌물을 받지 아니하는 자, 귀를 막아 피 흘리려는 꾀를 듣지 아니하는 자, 눈을 감아 악을 보지 아니하는 자
He who walks righteously and speaks what is right, who rejects gain from extortion and keeps his hand from accepting bribes, who stops his ears against plots of murder and shuts his eyes against contemplating evil--
사33:16 그는 높은 곳에 거하리니 견고한 바위가 그의 요새가 되며 그의 양식은 공급되고 그의 물은 끊어지지 아니하리라
this is the man who will dwell on the heights, whose refuge will be the mountain fortress. His bread will be supplied, and water will not fail him.
사33:17 네 눈은 그의 아름다운 가운데에서 보며 광활한 땅을 눈으로 보겠고
Your eyes will see the king in his beauty and view a land that stretches afar.
사33:18 네 마음은 두려워하던 것을 생각해 내리라 계산하던 자가 어디 있느냐 공세를 계량하던 자가 어디 있느냐 망대를 계수하던 자가 어디 있느냐
In your thoughts you will ponder the former terror: "Where is that chief officer? Where is the one who took the revenue? Where is the officer in charge of the towers?"
사33:19 네가 강포한 백성을 보지 아니하리라 그 백성은 방언이 어려워 네가 알아듣지 못하며 말이 이상하여 네가 깨닫지 못하는 자니라
You will see those arrogant people no more, those people of an obscure speech, with their strange, incomprehensible tongue.
사33:20 우리의 절기의 시온 성을 보라 네 눈이 안정된 처소인 예루살렘을 보리니 그것은 옮겨지지 아니할 장막이라 그 말뚝이 영원히 뽑히지 아니할 것이요 그 줄이 하나도 끊어지지 아니할 것이며
Look upon Zion, the city of our festivals; your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode, a tent that will not be moved; its stakes will never be pulled up, nor any of its ropes broken.
사33:21 여호와께서는 거기서 위엄 중에 우리와 함께 계시리니 그 곳에는 여러 강과 큰 호수가 있으나 노젓는 배나 큰 배가 통행하지 못하리라
There the LORD will be our Mighty One. It will be like a place of broad rivers and streams. No galley with oars will ride them, no mighty ship will sail them.
사33:22 대저 여호와는 우리 재판장이시요 여호와는 우리에게 율법을 세우신 이요 여호와는 우리의 왕이시니 그가 우리를 구원하실 것임이라
For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; it is he who will save us.
사33:23 네 돛대 줄이 풀렸으니 돛대 밑을 튼튼히 하지 못하였고 돛을 달지 못하였느라 때가 되면 많은 재물을 탈취하여 나누리니 저는 자도 그 재물을 취할 것이며
Your rigging hangs loose: The mast is not held secure, the sail is not spread. Then an abundance of spoils will be divided and even the lame will carry off plunder.
사33:24 그 거주민은 내가 병들었노라 하지 아니할 것이라 거기에 사는 백성이 사죄함을 받으리라
No one living in Zion will say, "I am ill"; and the sins of those who dwell there will be forgiven.

Isaiah 34
사34:1 열국이여 너희는 나아와 들을지어다 민족들이여 귀를 기울일지어다 땅과 땅에 충만한 것, 세계와 세계에서 나는 모든 것이여 들을지어다
Come near, you nations, and listen; pay attention, you peoples! Let the earth hear, and all that is in it, the world, and all that comes out of it!
사34:2 대저 여호와께서 열방을 향하여 진노하시며 그들의 만군을 향하여 분내사 그들을 진멸하시며 살륙당하게 하셨은즉
The LORD is angry with all nations; his wrath is upon all their armies. He will totally destroy them, he will give them over to slaughter.
사34:3 그 살륙당한 자는 내어던진 바 되며 그 사체의 악취가 솟아오르고 그의 피에 산들이 녹을 것이며
Their slain will be thrown out, their dead bodies will send up a stench; the mountains will be soaked with their blood.
사34:4 하늘의 만상이 사라지고 하늘들이 두루마리 같이 말리되 그 만상의 쇠잔함이 포도나무 잎이 마름 같고 무화과나무 잎이 마름 같으리라
All the stars of the heavens will be dissolved and the sky rolled up like a scroll; all the starry host will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree.
사34:5 여호와의 칼이 하늘에서 족하게 마셨은즉 보라 이것이 에돔 위에 내리며 진멸하시기로 한 백성 위에 내려 그를 심판할 것이라
My sword has drunk its fill in the heavens; see, it descends in judgment on Edom, the people I have totally destroyed.
사34:6 여호와의 칼이 피 곧 어린 양과 염소의 피에 만족하고 기름 곧 숫양의 콩팥 기름에 윤택하니 이는 여호와를 위한 희생이 보스라에 있고 큰 살육 이 에돔땅에 있으리라
The sword of the LORD is bathed in blood, it is covered with fat--the blood of lambs and goats, fat from the kidneys of rams. For the LORD has a sacrifice in Bozrah and a great slaughter in Edom.
사34:7 들소와 송아지와 수소가 함께 도살장에 내려가니 그들의 땅이 피에 취하며 흙이 기름으로 윤택하리라
And the wild oxen will fall with them, the bull calves and the great bulls. Their land will be drenched with blood, and the dust will be soaked with fat.
사34:8 이것은 여호와의 보복하시는 날이요 시온의 송사를 위하여 신원하시는 해라
For the LORD has a day of vengeance, a year of retribution, to uphold Zion's cause.
사34:9 에돔의 시내들은 변하여 역청이 되고 그 티끌은 유황이 되고 그 땅은 불 붙는 역청이 되며
Edom's streams will be turned into pitch, her dust into burning sulfur; her land will become blazing pitch!
사34:10 낮에나 밤에나 꺼지지 아니하고 그 연기가 끊임없이 떠오를 것이며 세세에 황무하여 그리로 지날 자가 영영히 없겠고
It will not be quenched night and day; its smoke will rise forever. From generation to generation it will lie desolate; no one will ever pass through it again.
사34:11 당아새와 고슴도치가 그 땅을 차지하며 부엉이와 까마귀가 거기에 살 것이라 여호와께서 그 위에 혼란의 줄과 공허의 추를 드리우실 것인즉
The desert owl and screech owl will possess it; the great owl and the raven will nest there. God will stretch out over Edom the measuring line of chaos and the plumb line of desolation.
사34:12 그들이 국가를 이으려 하여 귀인들을 부르되 아무도 없겠고 그 모든 방백도 없게 될 것이요
Her nobles will have nothing there to be called a kingdom, all her princes will vanish away.
사34:13 그 궁궐에는 가시나무가 나며 그 견고한 성에는 엉겅퀴와 새품이 자라서 승냥이의 굴과 타조의 처소가 될 것이니
Thorns will overrun her citadels, nettles and brambles her strongholds. She will become a haunt for jackals, a home for owls.
사34:14 들짐승이 이리와 만나며 숫염소가 그 동류를 부르며 올빼미가 거기에 살면서 쉬는 처소로 삼으며
Desert creatures will meet with hyenas, and wild goats will bleat to each other; there the night creatures will also repose and find for themselves places of rest.
사34:15 부엉이가 거기 깃들이고 알을 낳아 까서 그의 그늘에 모으며 솔개들도 각각 제 짝과 함께 거기에 모이리라
The owl will nest there and lay eggs, she will hatch them, and care for her young under the shadow of her wings; there also the falcons will gather, each with its mate.
사34:16 너희는 여호와의 책에서 찾아 읽어 보라 이것들 가운데서 빠진 것이 하나도 없고 제 짝이 없는 것이 없으리니 이는 여호와의 입이 이를 명령하셨고 그의 영이 이것들을 모으셨음이라
Look in the scroll of the LORD and read: None of these will be missing, not one will lack her mate. For it is his mouth that has given the order, and his Spirit will gather them together.
사34:17 여호와께서 그것들을 위하여 제비를 뽑으시며 그의 손으로 줄을 띠어 그 땅을 그것들에게 나눠 주셨으니 그들이 영원히 차지하며 대대로 거기에 살리라
He allots their portions; his hand distributes them by measure. They will possess it forever and dwell there from generation to generation.
이사야 (Isaiah) 35 장.
Isaiah 35
사35:1 광야와 메마른 땅이 기뻐하며 사막이 백합화 같이 피어 즐거워하며
The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus,
사35:2 무성하게 피어 기쁜 노래로 즐거워하며 레바논의 영광과 갈멜과 사론의 아름다움을 얻을 것이라 그것들이 여호와의 영광 곧 우리 하나님의 아름다움을 보리로다
it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God.
사35:3 너희는 약한 손을 강하게 하며 떨리는 무릎을 굳게 하며
Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way;
사35:4 겁내는 자들에게 이르기를 굳세어라, 두려워하지 말라, 보라 너희 하나님이 오사 보복하시며 갚아 주실 것이라 하나님이 오사 너희를 구하시리라 하라
say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you."
사35:5 그 때에 맹인의 눈이 밝을 것이며 못듣는 사람의 귀가 열릴 것이며
Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
사35:6 그 때에 저는 자는 사슴 같이 뛸 것이며 말못하는 자의 혀는 노래하리니 이는 광야에서 물이 솟겠고 사막에서 시내가 흐를 것임이라
Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.
사35:7 뜨거운 사막이 변하여 못이 될 것이며 메마른 땅이 변하여 원천이 될 것이며 승냥이의 눕던 곳에 풀과 갈대와 부들이 날 것이며
The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.
사35:8 거기 대로가 있어 그 길을 거룩한 길이니라 일컫는 바 되리니 깨끗지 못한 자는 지나지 못하겠고 오직 구속함을 입은 자들을 위하여 있게 될 것이라 우매한 행인은 그 길로 다니지 못할 것이며
And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it.
사35:9 거기는 사자가 없고 사나운 짐승이 그리로 올라가지 아니하므로 그것을 만나지 못하겠고 오직 구속함을 받은 자만 그리로 행할 것이며
No lion will be there, nor will any ferocious beast get up on it; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there,
사35:10 여호와의 속량함을 받은 자들이 돌아오되 노래하며 시온에 이르러 그들의 머리 위에 영영한 희락을 띠고 기쁨과 즐거움을 얻으리니 슬픔과 탄식이 살아지리로다
and the ransomed of the LORD will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
