Ezekiel 22

겔22:1 또 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되

The word of the LORD came to me:

겔22:2 인자야 네가 심판하려느냐 이 피흘린 성읍을 심판하려느냐 그리하려거든 자기의 모든 가증한 일을 그들이 알게 하라

"Son of man, will you judge her? Will you judge this city of bloodshed? Then confront her with all her detestable practices

겔22:3 너는 말하라 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 자기 가운데에 피를 흘려 벌받을 때가 이르게 하며 우상을 만들어 스스로 더럽히는 성아

and say: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: O city that brings on herself doom by shedding blood in her midst and defiles herself by making idols,

겔22:4 네가 흘린 피로 말미암아 죄가 있고 네가 만든 우상으로 말미암아 스스로 더럽혔으니 네 날이 가까웠고 네 연한이 찼도다 그러므로 내가 너로 이방의 능욕을 받으며 만국의 조롱 거리가 되게 하였노라

you have become guilty because of the blood you have shed and have become defiled by the idols you have made. You have brought your days to a close, and the end of your years has come. Therefore I will make you an object of scorn to the nations and a laughingstock to all the countries.

겔22:5 너 이름이 더럽고 어지러움이 많은 자여 가까운 자나 먼 자나 다 너를 조롱하리라

Those who are near and those who are far away will mock you, O infamous city, full of turmoil.

겔22:6 이스라엘 모든 고관은 각기 권세대로 피를 흘리려고 네 가운데에 있었도다

"'See how each of the princes of Israel who are in you uses his power to shed blood.

겔22:7 그들이 네 가운데에서 부모를 업신여겼으며 네 가운데에서 나그네를 학대하였으며 네 가운데에서 고아와 과부를 해하였도다

In you they have treated father and mother with contempt; in you they have oppressed the alien and mistreated the fatherless and the widow.

겔22:8 너는 나의 성물들을 업신여겼으며 나의 안식일을 더럽혔으며

You have despised my holy things and desecrated my Sabbaths.

겔22:9 네 가운데에 피를 흘리려고 이간을 붙이는 자도 있었으며 네 가운데에 산 위에서 제물을 먹는 자도 있었으며 네 가운데에 음행하는 자도 있었으며

In you are slanderous men bent on shedding blood; in you are those who eat at the mountain shrines and commit lewd acts.

겔22:10 네 가운데에 자기 아버지의 하체를 드러내는 자도 있었으며 네 가운데에 월경하는 부정한 여인과 관계하는 자도 있었으며

In you are those who dishonor their fathers' bed; in you are those who violate women during their period, when they are ceremonially unclean.

겔22:11 어떤 사람은 그 이웃의 아내와 가증한 일을 행하였으며 어떤 사람은 그의 며느리를 더럽혀 음행하였으며 네 가운데에 어떤 사람은 그 자매 곧 아버지의 딸과 관계하였으며

In you one man commits a detestable offense with his neighbor's wife, another shamefully defiles his daughter-in-law, and another violates his sister, his own father's daughter.

겔22:12 네 가운데에 피를 흘리려고 뇌물을 받는 자도 있었으며 네가 변돈과 이자를 받았으며 이를 탐하여 이웃을 속여 빼앗았으며 나를 잊어버렸도다 주 여호와의 말씀이니라

In you men accept bribes to shed blood; you take usury and excessive interest and make unjust gain from your neighbors by extortion. And you have forgotten me, declares the Sovereign LORD.

겔22:13 네가 불의를 행하여 이익을 얻은 일과 네 가운데에 피 흘린 일로 말미암아 내가 손뼉을 쳤나니

"'I will surely strike my hands together at the unjust gain you have made and at the blood you have shed in your midst.

겔22:14 내가 네게 보응하는 날에 네 마음이 견디겠느냐 네 손이 힘이 있겠느냐 나 여호와가 말하였으니 내가 이루리라

Will your courage endure or your hands be strong in the day I deal with you? I the LORD have spoken, and I will do it.

겔22:15 내가 너를 뭇 나라 가운데에 흩으며 각 나라에 헤치고 너의 더러운 것을 네 가운데에서 멸하리라

I will disperse you among the nations and scatter you through the countries; and I will put an end to your uncleanness.

겔22:16 네가 자신 때문에 나라들의 목전에서 수치를 당하리니 내가 여호와인 줄 알리라 하셨다 하라

When you have been defiled in the eyes of the nations, you will know that I am the LORD.'"

겔22:17 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되

Then the word of the LORD came to me:

겔22:18 인자야 이스라엘 족속이 내게 찌꺼기가 되었나니 곧 풀무 불 가운데에 있는 놋이나 주석이나 쇠나 납이며 은의 찌꺼기로다

"Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to me; all of them are the copper, tin, iron and lead left inside a furnace. They are but the dross of silver.

겔22:19 그러므로 주 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하셨느니라 너희가 다 찌꺼기가 되었은즉 내가 너희를 예루살렘 가운데로 모으고

Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: 'Because you have all become dross, I will gather you into Jerusalem.

겔22:20 사람이 은이나 놋이나 쇠나 납이나 주석이나 모아서 풀무 불 속에 넣고 불을 불어 녹이는 것 같이 내가 노여움과 분으로 너희를 모아 거기에 두고 녹이리라

As men gather silver, copper, iron, lead and tin into a furnace to melt it with a fiery blast, so will I gather you in my anger and my wrath and put you inside the city and melt you.

겔22:21 내가 너희를 모으고 내 분노의 불을 너희에게 불면 너희가 그 가운데에서 녹되

I will gather you and I will blow on you with my fiery wrath, and you will be melted inside her.

겔22:22 은이 풀무 불 가운데에서 녹는 것 같이 너희가 그 가운데에서 녹으리니 나 여호와가 분노를 너희 위에 쏟은 줄을 너희가 알리라

As silver is melted in a furnace, so you will be melted inside her, and you will know that I the LORD have poured out my wrath upon you.'"

겔22:23 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되

Again the word of the LORD came to me:

겔22:24 인자야 너는 그에게 이르기를 너는 정결함을 얻지 못한 땅이요 진노의 날에 비를 얻지 못한 땅이로다 하라

"Son of man, say to the land, 'You are a land that has had no rain or showers in the day of wrath.'

겔22:25 그 가운데에서 선지자들의 반역함이 우는 사자가 음식물을 움킴 같았도다 그들이 사람의 영혼을 삼켰으며 재산과 보물을 탈취하며 과부를 그 가운데에 많게 하였으며

There is a conspiracy of her princes within her like a roaring lion tearing its prey; they devour people, take treasures and precious things and make many widows within her.

겔22:26 그 제사장들은 내 율법을 범하였으며 나의 성물을 더럽혔으며 거룩함과 속된 것을 구별하지 아니하였으며 부정함과 정한 것을 사람이 구별하게 하지 아니 하였으며 그의 눈을 가리어 나의 안식일을 보지 아니하였으므로 내가 그들 가운데에서 더럽힘을 받았느니라

Her priests do violence to my law and profane my holy things; they do not distinguish between the holy and the common; they teach that there is no difference between the unclean and the clean; and they shut their eyes to the keeping of my Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them.

겔22:27 그 가운데에 그 고관들은 음식물을 삼키는 이리 같아서 불의한 이익을 얻으려고 피를 흘려 영혼을 멸하거늘

Her officials within her are like wolves tearing their prey; they shed blood and kill people to make unjust gain.

겔22:28 그 선지자들이 그들을 위하여 회를 칠하고 스스로 허탄한 이상을 보며 거짓 복술을 행하며 여호와가 말하지 아니하였어도 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 하였으며

Her prophets whitewash these deeds for them by false visions and lying divinations. They say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says'--when the LORD has not spoken.

겔22:29 이 땅 백성은 포악하며 강탈하여 가난하고 궁핍한 자를 압제하였으며 나그네를 부당하게 학대하였으므로

The people of the land practice extortion and commit robbery; they oppress the poor and needy and mistreat the alien, denying them justice.

겔22:30 이 땅을 위하여 성을 쌓으며 성 무너진 데를 막아 서서 나로 하여금 멸하지 못하게 할 사람을 내가 그 가운데에서 찾다가 찾지 못하였으므로

"I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none.

겔22:31 내가 내 분노를 그들 위에 쏟으며 내 진노의 불로 멸하여 그들 행위대로 그들 머리에 보응하였느니라 주 여호와의 말씀이니라

So I will pour out my wrath on them and consume them with my fiery anger, bringing down on their own heads all they have done, declares the Sovereign LORD."

에스겔 (Ezekiel) 23 장.

Ezekiel 23

겔23:1 또 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되

The word of the LORD came to me:

겔23:2 인자야 두 여인이 있었으니 한 어머니의 딸이라

"Son of man, there were two women, daughters of the same mother.

겔23:3 그들이 애굽에서 행음하되 어렸을 때에 행음하여 그들의 유방이 눌리며 그 처녀의 가슴이 어루만져졌나니

They became prostitutes in Egypt, engaging in prostitution from their youth. In that land their breasts were fondled and their virgin bosoms caressed.

겔23:4 그 이름이 형은 오홀라요 아우는 오홀리바라 그들이 내게 속하여 자녀를 낳았나니 그 이름으로 말하면 오홀라는 사마리아요 오홀리바는 예루살렘이니라

The older was named Oholah, and her sister was Oholibah. They were mine and gave birth to sons and daughters. Oholah is Samaria, and Oholibah is Jerusalem.

겔23:5 오홀라가 내게 속하였을 때에 행음하여 그가 연애하는 자 곧 그의 이웃 앗수르 사람을 사모하였나니

"Oholah engaged in prostitution while she was still mine; and she lusted after her lovers, the Assyrians--warriors

겔23:6 그들은 다 자색 옷을 입은 고관과 감독이요 준수한 청년이요 말 타는 자들이라

clothed in blue, governors and commanders, all of them handsome young men, and mounted horsemen.

겔23:7 그가 앗수르 사람들 가운데에 잘 생긴 그 모든 자들과 행음하고 누구를 연애하든지 그들의 모든 우상으로 자신을 더럽혔으며

She gave herself as a prostitute to all the elite of the Assyrians and defiled herself with all the idols of everyone she lusted after.

겔23:8 그가 젊었을 때에 애굽 사람과 동침하매 그 처녀의 가슴이 어루만져졌으며 그의 몸에 음란을 쏟음을 당한 바 되었더니 그가 그 때부터 행음함을 마지아니하였느니라

She did not give up the prostitution she began in Egypt, when during her youth men slept with her, caressed her virgin bosom and poured out their lust upon her.

겔23:9 그러므로 내가 그를 그의 정든 자 곧 그가 연애하는 앗수르 사람의 손에 넘겼더니

"Therefore I handed her over to her lovers, the Assyrians, for whom she lusted.

겔23:10 그들이 그의 하체를 드러내고 그의 자녀를 빼앗으며 칼로 그를 죽여 여인들에게 이야깃거리가 되게 하였나니 이는 그들이 그에게 심판을 행함이니라

They stripped her naked, took away her sons and daughters and killed her with the sword. She became a byword among women, and punishment was inflicted on her.

겔23:11 그 아우 오홀리바가 이것을 보고도 그의 형보다 음욕을 더하며 그의 형의 간음함보다 그 간음이 더 심하므로 그의 형보다 더 부패하여졌느니라

"Her sister Oholibah saw this, yet in her lust and prostitution she was more depraved than her sister.

겔23:12 그가 그의 이웃 앗수르 사람을 연애하였나니 그들은 화려한 의복을 입은 고관과 감독이요 말타는 자들과 준수한 청년이었느니라

She too lusted after the Assyrians--governors and commanders, warriors in full dress, mounted horsemen, all handsome young men.

겔23:13 그 두 여인이 한 길로 행하므로 그도 더러워졌음을 내가 보았노라

I saw that she too defiled herself; both of them went the same way.

겔23:14 그가 음행을 더하였음은 붉은 색으로 벽에 그린 사람의 형상 곧 갈대아 사람의 형상을 보았음이니

"But she carried her prostitution still further. She saw men portrayed on a wall, figures of Chaldeans portrayed in red,

겔23:15 그 형상은 허리를 띠로 동이고 머리를 긴 수건으로 쌌으며 그의 용모는 다 준수한 자 곧 그의 고향 갈대아 바벨론 사람 같은 것이라

with belts around their waists and flowing turbans on their heads; all of them looked like Babylonian chariot officers, natives of Chaldea.

겔23:16 그가 보고 곧 사랑하게 되어 사절을 갈대아 그들에게로 보내매

As soon as she saw them, she lusted after them and sent messengers to them in Chaldea.

겔23:17 바벨론 사람이 나아와 연애하는 침상에 올라 음행으로 그를 더럽히매 그가 더럽힘을 입은 후에 그들을 싫어하는 마음이 생겼느니라

Then the Babylonians came to her, to the bed of love, and in their lust they defiled her. After she had been defiled by them, she turned away from them in disgust.

겔23:18 그가 이같이 그의 음행을 나타내며 그가 하체를 드러내므로 내 마음이 그의 형을 싫어한 것 같이 그를 싫어하였으나

When she carried on her prostitution openly and exposed her nakedness, I turned away from her in disgust, just as I had turned away from her sister.

겔23:19 그가 그의 음행을 더하여 젊었을 때 곧 애굽 땅에서 행음하던 때를 생각하고

Yet she became more and more promiscuous as she recalled the days of her youth, when she was a prostitute in Egypt.

겔23:20 그의 하체는 나귀 같고 그의 정수는 말 같은 음란한 간부를 사랑하였도다

There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses.

겔23:21 네가 젊었을 때에 행음하여 애굽 사람에게 네 가슴과 유방이 어루만져졌던 것을 아직도 생각하도다

So you longed for the lewdness of your youth, when in Egypt your bosom was caressed and your young breasts fondled.

겔23:22 그러므로 오홀리바야 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 나는 네가 사랑하다가 싫어하던 자들을 충동하여 그들이 사방에서 와서 너를 치게 하리니

"Therefore, Oholibah, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will stir up your lovers against you, those you turned away from in disgust, and I will bring them against you from every side--

겔23:23 그들은 바벨론 사람과 갈대아 모든 무리 브곳과 소아와 고아 사람과 또 그와 함께 한 모든 앗수르 사람 곧 준수한 청년이며 다 고관과 감독이며 귀인과 유명한 자요 다 말 타는 자들이라

the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, the men of Pekod and Shoa and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them, handsome young men, all of them governors and commanders, chariot officers and men of high rank, all mounted on horses.

겔23:24 그들이 무기와 병거와 수레와 크고 작은 방패를 이끌고 투구 쓴 군대를 거느리고 치러 와서 너를 에워싸리라 내가 재판을 그들에게 맡긴즉 그들이 그들의 법대로 너를 재판하리라

They will come against you with weapons, chariots and wagons and with a throng of people; they will take up positions against you on every side with large and small shields and with helmets. I will turn you over to them for punishment, and they will punish you according to their standards.

겔23:25 내가 너를 향하여 질투하리니 그들이 분내어 네 코와 귀를 깎아 버리고 남은 자를 칼로 엎드러뜨리며 네 자녀를 빼앗고 그 남은 자를 불에 사르며

I will direct my jealous anger against you, and they will deal with you in fury. They will cut off your noses and your ears, and those of you who are left will fall by the sword. They will take away your sons and daughters, and those of you who are left will be consumed by fire.

겔23:26 또 네 옷을 벗기며 네 장식품을 빼앗을지라

They will also strip you of your clothes and take your fine jewelry.

겔23:27 이와 같이 내가 네 음란과 애굽 땅에서부터 행음하던 것을 그치게 하여 너로 그들을 향하여 눈을 들지도 못하게 하며 다시는 애굽을 기억하지도 못하게 하리라

So I will put a stop to the lewdness and prostitution you began in Egypt. You will not look on these things with longing or remember Egypt anymore.

겔23:28 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 나는 네가 미워하는 자와 네 마음에 싫어하는 자의 손에 너를 붙이리니

"For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am about to hand you over to those you hate, to those you turned away from in disgust.

겔23:29 그들이 미워하는 마음으로 네게 행하여 네 모든 수고한 것을 빼앗고 너를 벌거벗은 몸으로 두어서 네 음행의 벗은 몸 곧 네 음란하며 행음하던 것을 드러낼 것이라

They will deal with you in hatred and take away everything you have worked for. They will leave you naked and bare, and the shame of your prostitution will be exposed. Your lewdness and promiscuity

겔23:30 네가 이같이 당할 것은 네가 음란하게 이방을 따르고 그 우상들로 더럽혔기 때문이로다

have brought this upon you, because you lusted after the nations and defiled yourself with their idols.

겔23:31 네가 네 형의 길로 행하였은즉 내가 그의 잔을 네 손에 주리라

You have gone the way of your sister; so I will put her cup into your hand.

겔23:32 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 깊고 크고 가득히 담긴 네 형의 잔을 네가 마시고 코웃음과 조롱을 당하리라

"This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "You will drink your sister's cup, a cup large and deep; it will bring scorn and derision, for it holds so much.

겔23:33 네가 네 형 사마리아의 잔 곧 놀람과 패망의 잔에 넘치게 취하고 근심할지라

You will be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, the cup of ruin and desolation, the cup of your sister Samaria.

겔23:34 네가 그 잔을 다 기울여 마시고 그 깨어진 조각을 씹으며 네 유방을 꼬집을 것은 내가 이렇게 말하였음이라 주 여호와의 말씀이니라

You will drink it and drain it dry; you will dash it to pieces and tear your breasts. I have spoken, declares the Sovereign LORD.

겔23:35 그러므로 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 네가 나를 잊었고 또 나를 네 등 뒤에 버렸은즉 너는 네 음란과 네 음행의 죄를 담당할지니라 하시니라

"Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Since you have forgotten me and thrust me behind your back, you must bear the consequences of your lewdness and prostitution."

겔23:36 여호와께서 또 내게 이르시되 인자야 네가 오홀라와 오홀리바를 심판하려느냐 그러면 그 가증한 일을 그들에게 말하라

The LORD said to me: "Son of man, will you judge Oholah and Oholibah? Then confront them with their detestable practices,

겔23:37 그들이 행음하였으며 피를 손에 묻혔으며 또 그 우상과 행음하며 내게 낳아 준 자식들을 우상을 위하여 화제로 살랐으며

for they have committed adultery and blood is on their hands. They committed adultery with their idols; they even sacrificed their children, whom they bore to me, as food for them.

겔23:38 이 외에도 그들이 내게 행한 것이 있나니 당일에 내 성소를 더럽히며 내 안식일을 범하였도다

They have also done this to me: At that same time they defiled my sanctuary and desecrated my Sabbaths.

겔23:39 그들이 자녀를 죽여 그 우상에게 드린 그 날에 내 성소에 들어와서 더럽혔으되 그들이 내 성전 가운데에서 그렇게 행하였으며

On the very day they sacrificed their children to their idols, they entered my sanctuary and desecrated it. That is what they did in my house.

겔23:40 또 사절을 먼 곳에 보내 사람을 불러오게 하고 그들이 오매 그들을 위하여 목욕하며 눈썹을 그리며 스스로 단장하고

"They even sent messengers for men who came from far away, and when they arrived you bathed yourself for them, painted your eyes and put on your jewelry.

겔23:41 화려한 자리에 앉아 앞에 상을 차리고 내 향과 기름을 그 위에 놓고

You sat on an elegant couch, with a table spread before it on which you had placed the incense and oil that belonged to me.

겔23:42 그 무리와 편히 지껄이고 즐겼으며 또 광야에서 잡류와 술 취한 사람을 청하여 오매 그들이 팔찌를 그 손목에 끼우고 아름다운 관을 그 머리에 씌웠도다

"The noise of a carefree crowd was around her; Sabeans were brought from the desert along with men from the rabble, and they put bracelets on the arms of the woman and her sister and beautiful crowns on their heads.

겔23:43 내가 음행으로 쇠한 여인을 가리켜 말하노라 그가 그래도 그들과 피차 행음하는도다

Then I said about the one worn out by adultery, 'Now let them use her as a prostitute, for that is all she is.'

겔23:44 그들이 그에게 나오기를 기생에게 나옴 같이 음란한 여인 오홀라와 오홀리바에게 나왔은즉

And they slept with her. As men sleep with a prostitute, so they slept with those lewd women, Oholah and Oholibah.

겔23:45 의인이 간통한 여자들을 재판함 같이 재판하며 피를 흘린 여인을 재판함 같이 재판하리니 그들은 간통한 여자들이요 또 피가 그 손에 묻었음이라

But righteous men will sentence them to the punishment of women who commit adultery and shed blood, because they are adulterous and blood is on their hands.

겔23:46 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 그가 그들에게 무리를 올려 보내 그들이 공포와 약탈을 당하게 하리니

"This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Bring a mob against them and give them over to terror and plunder.

겔23:47 무리가 그들을 돌로 치며 칼로 죽이고 그 자녀도 죽이며 그 집들을 불사르리라

The mob will stone them and cut them down with their swords9 they will kill thistant islands that have not heard of my fame or seen my glory. They will proclaim my glory among the nations.

겔23:48 이같이 내가 이 땅에서 음란을 그치게 한즉 모든 여인이 정신이 깨어 너희 음행을 본받지 아니하리라

Ezekiel 24

겔23:49 그들이 너희 음란으로 너희에게 보응한즉 너희가 모든 우상을 위하던 죄를 담당할지라 내가 주 여호와인 줄을 너희가 알리라 하시니라

In the ninth year, in the tenth month on the tenth day, the word of the LORD came to me:

에스겔 (Ezekiel) 24 장.

"Son of man, record this date, this very date, because the king of Babylon has laid siege to Jerusalem this very day.

겔24:1 아홉째 해 열째 달 열째 날에 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되

Tell this rebellious house a parable and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "'Put on the cooking pot; put it on and pour water into it.

겔24:2 인자야 너는 날짜 곧 오늘의 이름을 기록하라 바벨론 왕이 오늘 예루살렘에 가까이 왔느니라

Put into it the pieces of meat, all the choice pieces--the leg and the shoulder. Fill it with the best of these bones;

겔24:3 너는 이 반역하는 족속에게 비유를 베풀어 이르기를 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시기를 가마 하나를 걸라

take the pick of the flock. Pile wood beneath it for the bones; bring it to a boil and cook the bones in it.

겔24:4 건 후에 물을 붓고 양 떼에서 한 마리를 골라 각을 뜨고 그 넓적다리와 어깨 고기의 모든 좋은 덩이를 그 가운데에 모아 넣으며 고른 뼈를 가득히 담고

"'For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: "'Woe to the city of bloodshed, to the pot now encrusted, whose deposit will not go away! Empty it piece by piece without casting lots for them.

겔24:5 그 뼈를 위하여 가마 밑에 나무를 쌓아 넣고 잘 삶되 가마 속의 뼈가 무르도록 삶을지어다

"'For the blood she shed is in her midst: She poured it on the bare rock; she did not pour it on the ground, where the dust would cover it.

겔24:6 그러므로 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 피를 흘린 성읍, 녹슨 가마 곧 그 속의 녹을 없이하지 아니한 가마여 화 있을진저 제비 뽑을 것도 없이 그 덩이를 하나하나 꺼낼지어다

To stir up wrath and take revenge I put her blood on the bare rock, so that it would not be covered.

겔24:7 그 피가 그 가운데에 있음이여 피를 땅에 쏟아 티끌이 덮이게 하지 않고 맨 바위 위에 두었도다

"'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: "'Woe to the city of bloodshed! I, too, will pile the wood high.

겔24:8 내가 그 피를 맨 바위 위에 두고 덮이지 아니하게 함은 분노를 나타내어 보응하려 함이로라

So heap on the wood and kindle the fire. Cook the meat well, mixing in the spices; and let the bones be charred.

겔24:9 그러므로 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 화 있을진저 피를 흘린 성읍이여 내가 또 나무 무더기를 크게 하리라

Then set the empty pot on the coals till it becomes hot and its copper glows so its impurities may be melted and its deposit burned away.

겔24:10 나무를 많이 쌓고 불을 피워 그 고기를 삶아 녹이고 국물을 졸이고 그 뼈를 태우고

It has frustrated all efforts; its heavy deposit has not been removed, not even by fire.

겔24:11 가마가 빈 후에는 숯불 위에 놓아 뜨겁게 하며 그 가마의 놋을 달궈서 그 속에 더러운 것을 녹게 하며 녹이 소멸되게 하라

"'Now your impurity is lewdness. Because I tried to cleanse you but you would not be cleansed from your impurity, you will not be clean again until my wrath against you has subsided.

겔24:12 이 성읍이 수고하므로 스스로 피곤하나 많은 녹이 그 속에서 벗겨지지 아니하며 불에서도 없어지지 아니하는도다

"'I the LORD have spoken. The time has come for me to act. I will not hold back; I will not have pity, nor will I relent. You will be judged according to your conduct and your actions, declares the Sovereign LORD.'"

겔24:13 너의 더러운 것들 중에 음란이 그 하나이니라 내가 너를 깨끗하게 하나 네가 깨끗하여지지 아니하니 내가 네게 향한 분노를 풀기 전에는 네 더러움이 다시 깨끗하여지지 아니하리라

The word of the LORD came to me:

겔24:14 나 여호와가 말하였은즉 그 일이 이루어질지라 내가 돌이키지도 아니하고 아끼지도 아니하며 뉘우치지도 아니하고 행하리니 그들이 네 모든 행위대로 너를 재판하리라 주 여호와의 말씀이니라

"Son of man, with one blow I am about to take away from you the delight of your eyes. Yet do not lament or weep or shed any tears.

겔24:15 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 이르시되

Groan quietly; do not mourn for the dead. Keep your turban fastened and your sandals on your feet; do not cover the lower part of your face or eat the customary food of mourners."

겔24:16 인자야 내가 네 눈에 기뻐하는 것을 한 번 쳐서 빼앗으리니 너는 슬퍼하거나 울거나 눈물을 흘리거나 하지 말며

So I spoke to the people in the morning, and in the evening my wife died. The next morning I did as I had been commanded.

겔24:17 죽은 자들을 위하여 슬퍼하지 말고 조용히 탄식하며 수건으로 머리를 동이고 발에 신을 신고 입술을 가리지 말고 사람이 초상집에서 먹는 음식물을 먹지 말라 하신지라

Then the people asked me, "Won't you tell us what these things have to do with us?"

겔24:18 내가 아침에 백성에게 말하였더니 저녁에 내 아내가 죽었으므로 아침에 내가 받은 명령대로 행하매

So I said to them, "The word of the LORD came to me:

겔24:19 백성이 내게 이르되 네가 행하는 이 일이 우리와 무슨 상관이 있는지 너는 우리에게 말하지 아니하겠느냐 하므로

Say to the house of Israel, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am about to desecrate my sanctuary--the stronghold in which you take pride, the delight of your eyes, the object of your affection. The sons and daughters you left behind will fall by the sword.

겔24:20 내가 그들에게 대답하기를 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되

And you will do as I have done. You will not cover the lower part of your face or eat the customary food of mourners.

겔24:21 너는 이스라엘 족속에게 이르기를 주 여호와의 말씀에 내 성소는 너희 세력의 영광이요 너희 눈의 기쁨이요 너희 마음에 아낌이 되거니와 내가 더럽힐 것이며 너희의 버려 둔 자녀를 칼에 엎드러지게 할지라

You will keep your turbans on your heads and your sandals on your feet. You will not mourn or weep but will waste away because of your sins and groan among yourselves.

겔24:22 너희가 에스겔이 행한 바와 같이 행하여 입술을 가리지 아니 하며 사람의 음식물을 먹지 아니하며

Ezekiel will be a sign to you; you will do just as he has done. When this happens, you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.'

겔24:23 수건으로 머리를 동인 채, 발에 신을 신은 채로 두고 슬퍼하지도 아니하며 울지도 아니하되 죄악 중에 패망하여 피차 바라보고 탄식하리라

"And you, son of man, on the day I take away their stronghold, their joy and glory, the delight of their eyes, their heart's desire, and their sons and daughters as well--

겔24:24 이같이 에스겔이 너희에게 표징이 되리니 그가 행한 대로 너희가 다 행할지라 이 일이 이루어지면 내가 주 여호와인 줄을 너희가 알리라 하라 하셨느니라

on that day a fugitive will come to tell you the news.

겔24:25 인자야 내가 그 힘과 그 즐거워하는 영광과 그 눈이 기뻐하는 것과 그 마음이 간절하게 생각하는 자녀를 데려가는 날

At that time your mouth will be opened; you will speak with him and will no longer be silent. So you will be a sign to them, and they will know that I am the LORD."

겔24:26 곧 그 날에 도피한 자가 네게 나와서 네 귀에 그 일을 들려주지 아니하겠느냐

겔24:27 그 날에 네 입이 열려서 도피한 자에게 말하고 다시는 잠잠하지 아니하리라 이같이 너는 그들에게 표징이 되고 그들은 내가 여호와인 줄 알리라
